While PCI Ltd makes every endeavour to ensure the security and integrity of data stored on our servers by providing high quality storage media and secure conditions for our servers, this service is provided without guarantee.
PCI Ltd is not liable for loss or corruption of data stored on our Servers and continued use of our Servers is at our customers' own risk. However, our Backup and Replication Servers are in strong server rooms within a card entry system environment in a 24 hour surveillance zone.
Backups can be retrieved via the User Login Area on request, or, for larger restore operations data can be supplied on DVD sent by insured special delivery (2 FREE DVD restores per year, additional charges will apply).
Files that we recommend are excluded from the backup are, amongst others: MPG, MP3, MP4, AVI, DIVX, XVID, EXE, COM, DLL, WMA, WMV, RAM - These are typically movie files, music files, and programs. Please make sure you keep all your program discs in the event of having to reinstall them.
Please note: Successful backups are dependant on the reliability and continued operation of Internal Networks and the Internet Connection at the customer's site, and those of our backbone provider. As these connections cannot be 100% guaranteed - in particular, the customer's Internet Connection - it is important that customers check their Email daily for the backup report.
